Acnecide 30g and 60g gel are topical treatments for acne vulgaris. It comes in a gel form, which can be applied directly to the skin. Acnecide gel work by killing the bacteria that cause acne, reducing inflammation, and helping to clear up pimples and blackheads. Acnecide gel is available without a prescription and can be used once or twice a day.

How Does Acnecide Treat?

Acnecide 30g and 60g gel is a topical acne treatment. It contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide, which is a type of medication called a keratolytic. Keratolytics work by breaking down the proteins that hold the skin cells together, which helps to loosen and remove the dead skin cells that can cause acne. Benzoyl peroxide also has antibacterial properties, which helps to kill the bacteria that can cause acne. Acnecide 30g and 60g gel should be applied to the affected area once or twice a day, depending on your individual needs. If you are using it for the first time, it is recommended that you start with once a day and increase to twice a day if needed. If you are using it in conjunction with another acne treatment, such as a topical antibiotic or skin cleanser, it is recommended that you use it once a day only. Directions

  • Acnecide 30g and 60g gel should be used in accordance with the directions given by your doctor.
  • Remove any makeup or cream from the area to be treated.
  • Clean and dry the affected area Wet the skin thoroughly with water.
  • Shake the bottle well before each use.
  • Apply a thin layer of Acnecide gel to the affected area and rub in gently until it is fully absorbed.
  • Use Acnecide gel twice a day, preferably in the morning and night.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water after applying the gel.
  • Allow the treated area to dry completely before putting on any clothing, cosmetics or sunscreen.
  • Repeat the process morning and evening, for up to four weeks, or as directed by a doctor.

Ingredients

  • The active ingredient is Hydrous Benzoyl Peroxide.
  • The inactive ingredients are Acrylates Copolymer, Poloxamer, Docusate Sodium, Disodium Edetate, Glycerol, Sodium Hydroxide, Carbomer, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Propylene Glycol, and Purified Water.
